Make Your Bid (Call)
Before play starts, each player declares how many tricks (out of 13) they expect to win. This bid is called your "call." You must bid at least 1. Play Tricks One by One
The player to the dealer's right leads the first trick by playing any non-Spade card (unless only Spades remain). Each subsequent player must follow the same suit if possible. If you can't follow suit, you must play a Spade (trump). The highest Spade wins any trick where a Spade was played; otherwise, the highest card of the led suit wins.

Scoring and Settling the Pot
After all 13 tricks are played, scores are calculated. Meeting or exceeding your bid earns you positive points (exact bid scores more than overbidding). Falling short deducts your bid value from your score. In the Quick format, this plays out over 2–3 rounds before the pot is distributed — the player with the highest cumulative score takes the prize.
